- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the project. A typical college essay from scratch runs around $800. A speech depends on the occasion and the length.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a series of assignments that target exploring the essay topic. Using these assignments, I alternate between phone sessions that discuss these assignments and emails that explore written material clients might have sent. In the last few sessions, we refine ideas and move towards an essay or a speech clients feel addresses the topic on a deeper level. With the college essay, students write and I guide. With the speech, I write as much or a little as the client desires.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in philosophy and a masters in English education. I have attended numerous poetry workshops and have published my own poetry. I was a social worker prior to teaching so can be empathetic in facing a variety of writing situations.
