FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a professional photographer because my son is active in youth sports. He was practically born with a hockey stick in his hand. Over the years I've gotten good enough at taking hockey pictures, in crummy ice rink lighting, that other parents offered to start buying my work. Then they started asking me to take pictures of them and their families.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Pick someone who is organized, and will listen to what you want. It's natural for an artist to want to act on their own artistic vision, but at the end of the day, you're the boss.
