My family of 5 had a great lesson with Russ. We had no previous golf experience and he was informative, friendly, encouraging and his clear step wise instructions helped us pick up the basics for chip, wedge and finally use of the driver. We highly recommend him it was a great family experience.

Russ has a great eye for the golf swing. He immediately spotted the flaws in my swing and provided corrections with explanation. He provided me with drills to ingrain the correct moves. He’s personable and knowledgeable. Can’t beat that combo!!

Russ was a great instructor. I told him what I was there to improve my iron game and he focused on that. He suggested some slight changes to my grip and stance. Then he showed me some technics to help my swing. Within 40 mins, I was hitting my irons long and straight. I was actually getting some divots even though I’m more of a sweeper. I’ve got more practice to do but it improved my iron game immediately. I lowered my score by 5-6 strokes on my next 18 holes and was hitting the green in regulation more often. I would recommend Russ to anyone.

My swing had deteriorated and I could not determine the cause. Russ immediately pin pointed a posture issue that was a big contributor to my difficulties. I would recommend a visit to The Golf School of Myrtle Beach to get yourself back on track.
