FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the information I receive from clients. Everyone is different and I like to tailor my pricing to their needs. I do have "base" pricing available on my websites. In a world where you get what you pay for, I do not try to compete with everyone who received a camera for Christmas last year, and now they are magically a "photographer". Sure, you can find someone to do your senior pictures for fifty bucks. Sorry, that is not me. Sometimes you just need a Real Photographer. And always there is no need to break the bank. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to schedule a one to one conversation to discuss my clients needs and wishes. I have done several jobs from Thumbtack where emails, etc. have worked just fine. Sometimes never actually meeting clients is common, but nothing better than talking things out.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mostly self educated. Much of my training comes from many hours taking online "classes" via YouTube and sharing information with other photographers. I have attended several of the largest pro photographer conventions in Las Vegas and the things I learned from taking classes offered there was priceless. My experience is mostly years of "hands on" and I am proud to have a great feel for any situation. I am quick to plan and execute depending on what I see that presents itself. My training comes from studying for and passing the part 107 Federal Aviation Administration Commercial drone pilot requirements, and of course from experience. I am a fully licensed and insured drone pilot and I use only the latest and best quality equipment. I started out shooting roof inspections with my drone, but no longer do them, but I will if you need that. Diversity? Yes! I now use drones almost weekly for real estate, commercial and vacation home shoots. Currently, in 2024, I have been flying commercially for 5 years. How time flies! I love to work with my awesome flying cameras!
