I had scheduled an appointment with Sky to have extensions applied to my hair. I unfortunately was one hour late for the appointment. Sky was wonderful, she had a smile on her face, was professional and nice and understanding and got right to work on my hair. I am so happy with the way my hair turned out, I absolutely love it. I will use Sky again and recommend her to all my friends.

After coming back from Europe it was hard for me to find a great hairstylist who can do weave extentions, but then i found Sky! She is great and gave me the results i am very pleased! I certainly recommend her!

I had the opportunity to sit in sky thomas' chair at Sky's hair oasis. it was a labor intensive investment that I would do over and over again. I thank God I don't have to because Sky is extremely intricate in her work, thus there is no need. My loc extentions look and feel completely natural. I will be a walking, talking billboard for Sky's Hair Oasis for some time to come. At this salon, the Sky is no longer the limit...it's just the beginning! Devin Shea! Voice Actor

Sky was very personable and professional. I could tell by the conversation over the phone. She thanked me just for calling ,before we schelued an appt. She is very pleasant and did a good job on my hair. It was done in a timely manner and it was quiet. I would definitely take the drive to Long Beach from L.A., to have her do my braids again. Sky sells customer service not just her skills. She is very appreciative of her customers.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
While growing up in New York, as a high school student, my Auntie encouraged me to do hair, since she saw the potential. I started doing hair on the weekends, and i enjoyed it. I then went to college for Business and only did family and friends periodically. Moved to CA and decided that i didn't want to have a 9-5 schedule. As a Lic. Cosmetologist i am enjoying the freedom it has to offer, while being a soccer mom, lol
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common styles are Extensions (weaves), Locs, Press N Curls, Braids......Skin Care
