Kendall Johnson Private Voice Teacher

I am Kendall Johnson, a native of Southern California. I have been singing over 14 years and have trained with the California Opera Association, Atlanta's Harrower Summer Opera Program, and have been doing community theatre in Temecula Valley for over 10 years. I am a three time National Youth Arts winner for best leading actress in a musical. I currently specialize in classical vocal technique with extensive musical theatre experience, and have been teaching music at various summer camps with some private students since I graduated high school. I teach vocal health and healthy fundamentals in singing technique. My basis for technique comes from my background in musical theatre, choral music, and opera/ classical singing studied at the collegiate level. The flow of the breath and breath control is foundational in a singers “tools of technique” which is what I teach. Some other areas I teach includes, proper singing posture, placement, tone, pitch/ intonation, and I can help with basic sight reading and music theory understanding. I aim to build a students confidence both in themselves and in their skills. Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance (BM)
