The sommelier provided excellent day-of service, which was greatly appreciated by my sister, who requested the experience for her birthday celebration, as well as by all of the guests who attended. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and had everyone very excited throughout the experience. We chose the region of France for the tasting, and she was able to answer every question that came up. She arrived professionally and overall created a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend her services.
As for areas of improvement, while she was responsive, her communication style sometimes came across as abrasive, which made me a little nervous prior to the event. Additionally, since I was unfamiliar with what a sommelier typically offers, I assumed wine pairing instruction and similar guidance would be included. I later realized her service focused primarily on wine education and tasting. I think providing a clearer explanation of her service packages and offerings upfront would be very helpful for future clients.
Overall, despite those concerns, I would still recommend her services. My sister and the guests were very happy with the experience, and she even gifted my sister a bottle of wine, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch."See more
