FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the specific scope of each project rather than a flat rate. Factors like square footage, surface condition, prep work needed, materials, height/accessibility, and finish level all affect the final price. Before starting any work, I typically do a walkthrough to understand exactly what the customer wants so the estimate is accurate and there are no surprises. My goal is to keep pricing fair, transparent, and aligned with the quality of work being delivered.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial contact – Discuss the project details and general expectations 2. On-site estimate – Walk through the job and assess scope 3. Written quote – Provide a clear breakdown of labor and materials 4. Scheduling – Set a start date that works for both parties 5. Execution – Complete the work with updates throughout the project 6. Final walkthrough – Review everything with the customer and handle any touch-ups if needed
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience comes primarily from hands-on training in residential construction, painting, and drywall finishing. Over the years, I’ve learned through real job-site experience, working on both small repairs and full home projects. This includes developing skills in surface prep, finishing techniques, material selection, and job efficiency.
