Lindsey was amazing at decorating our engagement party and she went the extra mile whenever it came to us needing anything. After our initial meeting with her, she handled everything and made our venue look like we had envisioned it to be. If our wedding was in the same state, we would definitely hire her again without hesitation. We couldn't have asked for a more professional and easy to get a long with decorator!

I contracted with Lindsey Mae Events & Designs in order to have them set up some decorations for my small and intimate elopement to the Smokies during October of 2023. Lindsey was the person I interacted with most of the time and Emmi was often present as well to assist in the process. They put together a package for me that included the simple and more affordable decorations I wanted, as well as coordination for the day of the event.
They were very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process - providing information, visual aids, suggestions and also sharing their vendor spreadsheet with me so I could have some recommended choices to look at as I tried to do my own planning. They were also very flexible when it came to making necessary adjustments as plans changed due to unforseen circumstances. Payment transactions were easily made through the site used to facilitate their contract and services.
On the day of the event, Lindsey and Emmi arrived at our cabin on time and performed all services well and according to plan. The decorations turned out beautiful and as we had envisioned/discussed. They communicated with and guided other vendors as necessary in order to ensure the schedule and unfolding of events. They had a very pleasant demeanor and were very kind and accommodating all around.
Thank you Lindsey and Emmi and I would definitely recommend them for any wedding or other similar event. It was great to have you there on our special day! 🙂
I found Lindsey on thumbtack and she was awesome. We lived about 3-4 hours away from one another so we used FaceTime to plan and go over details and so I could see the designs. Throughout the entire process Lindsey was always available if I had any questions and always responded very quickly. On the day of my wedding she was on time and very professional. She has a huge selection of decorations so I really didn't need to buy much. I also need some boards made and she did that too! She made me a welcome sign and even a guest sign board that turned out beautiful and saved me some money rather than using Etsy or Amazon.
I'm so glad I found her and she is very sweet! I loved her designs and how beautiful everything turned out. Thank you Lindsey!

I really thought I only needed a few extra people to help put décor in place. Lindsey brought so much know-how. Her tips and tricks saved a ton of time. She is very easy to work with and was a great asset. I look forward to working with her again.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to Carson Newman University & received a BS in Interior Design & Consumer Services. Soon after college I realized my love for design & decor was more in the event industry then in homes! I began planning & decorating friends weddings which then lead into a full time business!
