- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in weddings, with great attention to detail, making sure that all the events happen - in the right order - and nothing is missed by the bride & groom, their family and the photographer and video crew. Birthday parties and anniversary celebration are the 2nd most common type of event. At all of them - YOUR song list - not mine - is the key. Your "do not play" list - just as critical as your "Must play" song list.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice - talk directly to the DJ/MC that will be handling your event. Many larger companies have a stable of DJs and you want to make sure you have the "veteran" DJ, not the guy still learning the ropes. Ask about back up equipment - what do they do to ensure that nothing technical on their end goes wrong.
