FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My work only begins when I'm loaded up, leaving their home. To correctly dump materials must be separated and properly disposed of. This can be a time-consuming task at the landfill, depending on the variety of each load. Also, there are landfill dump fees, and we're all feeling to the strain of fuel prices as well as vehicle maintenance & repairs. I want my customers to feel like they're getting great value, and mutually beneficial business is the only business we're interested in doing. Everybody's time is most valuable, so I put a big emphasis on punctuality and efficiency while doing my job, so it's quick and hassle free for my customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Load up efficiently, secure the cargo strategically, collect the payment and hit the road. repeat until the truck and trailer is too full to fit anything else and then I hit the landfill that day or the following morning.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad's friend called me and asked if I could pick up his trash for $100 on my way home from work one day. He was having a party that evening and had missed his usual collection time. Soon after, came the Takl App, my dad was involved with and I saw the demand for people needing things hauled off. Takl is no longer in business today but I'm still hauling anything and evetything.
