FAQs
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Right now we have been doing a lot of assistance in helping with the recovery from the May 2010 flood. We immediately decided that we would do everything we can to help get people back in their homes and to give them something beautiful to focus on . We have special disaster recovery pricing to help make it much easier and much more affordable for customers to get back to home, back to normal. We do not profit from these recovery projects, other than the labor, which is also set low to help out. Our labor is always flat rate based on the size and shape of the shower, and we offer a discounted labor price for recovery. My parents had a fire in 2007 that consumed their entire house. On top of that, they had no insurance. We have seen the effects of total loss personally, and know how devastating it is. As we watched the flood unfold on TV, we vowed we would not build ourselves up off of someones misfortune.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Even though you are planning to hire a professional to do your remodel, research every phase of the project before you even start interviewing professionals. There is a website that my wife loves called "DoItYourself.com". What ever you need to call a professional for, look it up first to research what you need to have done. If the professional goes a completely different way, and in a way that you are uncomfortable with, discuss what you researched. Many times women do get taken advantage of where repairs are concerned. A little knowledge can go a long way to saving money in the long run. Now, if your professional is very open and discusses and shows what they are doing and why, you most likely wont have any trouble. There are many honest hard working professionals here, but it only takes 1 to cast doubt on everyone else.
