Sarah M. says, "To start off, a little back story is required to put into perspective just how highly impressed we were with Mountain View HVAC, not only with the job they did but also with their professionalism. Originally, we hired them to install smart thermostat, service our outside unit, and assess some questionable indoor vent “repairs” in our newly purchased, single owner, 1991 built home. The previous owner was an elderly individual that unfortunately did not have the resources to have regular maintenance performed. We expected some repairs, and that was reflected on the home inspection. To the degree the inspector bothered to review. Skip to Mountain View HVAC’s service call appointment day, where they also performed an inspection of our entire HVAC system from unit, to duct work, to interior vents. What they presented us with was rather surprising. Our duct work was in complete disarray with holes in many locations and overall output being severely reduced. Here is the first place Mountain View HVAC set themselves apart to me. Years ago I previously did home inspections, so I knew exactly what I was looking at when they presented me with the pictures of our duct work. Mountain View HVAC then told us exactly the facts of our system’s condition. They did not undersell the severity, and they did not take advantage of the situation to try and scare us into a quick service order. They told us fact for fact what was present, with supporting photographic evidence for every statement. They did not make claims of “Just trust us” as some technicians would have, they ensured everything was clearly understood and that we had no misunderstandings of the situation. They were respectful of our home conditions with the little one and our pet, knowing that we needed as little downtime of our HVAC system as possible, as repairs would require turning it off at the start of repairs until new ducting was installed. They worked early from the beginning of the day, and wrapped up the first day of repairs much later than I anticipated to ensure we were only out of air conditioning for one night. They then began the final day of repairs early in the morning again and left only when repairs were completed, ensuring a 2 day repair process as they promised. I could not be more impressed and pleased with Mountain View HVAC’s performance. This review is lengthy for the singular purpose of trying to explain in detail how trustworthy and hard working they are. I would without a doubt recommend them to anyone and trust them with any repairs our home should ever need. Hire them and you will not regret it."See more
