I love everything about it: the enticing aromas, immediate gratification of something manifested from my own hands, bright colors arranged on a plate, feeding friends and family, and the pleasure of eating! What began as an idea to earn a living "doing what one loves" rather than simply "to make money" has turned into a dream come true. Several early employment opportunities taught me that a combination of high quality ingredients and a little imagination can result in a phenomenal dining experience. I have been cooking for family and friends for years from preparing family favorites to elaborate feasts. I have traveled extensively around the US and abroad always learning from the regions and cultures to enhance my cooking style. I incorporate my travels with my passion for great food. I continually research the finest culinary venues in order to stay abreast of the latest culinary trends. I personally test each recipe and will not serve it to a client unless it passes a rigorous approval process. Sara is an excellent chef. She has cooked gourmet meals for me, my family and friends on countless occasions. When my daughter was born she would come over and prepare weekly meals. She knew that I wouldnt have time to prepare the wonderful nutritious foods that she did and is exactly what a new mom needs. Sara has also catered brunches, dinner and cocktail parties for me. She worked with me to come up with extravagant menus that were within my budget. My guest would rave about the food for months. I highly recommend Sara. She is professional, easy to work with, efficient, and an outstanding chef. Bon appetite!

I've been a client of Herb-N Kitchen Fairy for over a year now and am completely satisfied with the service. If for no other reason, having a professional do the grocery shopping has saved me money because they know how to shop economically. Also (and more importantly!) I've lost 20 lbs in a year thanks to eating meals prepared by someone who understands nutrition. More money, less weight, and delicious meals!?! What more could you ask for?

DO NOT USE this business! I purchased a $200 gift certificate as a Christmas gift in Dec2011 and my friend got the run around after dozens of attempts to schedule appointments. Sara then stopped returning phone calls and has never attempted to refund my money.

The Baby Gourmet The Herb-N Kitchen Fairy believes that both children and adults deserve the gift of freshly prepared food. That's why we offer the unique 'Baby Gourmet' service. We will come to your home and prepare a selection of organic fresh fruit, vegetable, and meat purees for your child. Cocktail Parties Having friends or clients over for cocktails and hors doeuvres? Allow me to prepare delicious hors doeuvres so that you can create a lasting impression on your guests. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The service is custom and I work with clients to come up with a meal plan that fits both their budget and any dietary restrictions required. Once I have a clear understanding of what you require, I can provide an accurate quote based on number of meals, number of people, organic vs non-organic, types of proteins, etc.
