I called and scheduled Mr. Handyman to replace a chandelier with a ceiling fan as well as install a dog door in the sunroom of a house we recently bought (built in 1968). On the scheduled day of my service, Kevin arrived on time and was extremely friendly and ready to get to work. Upon his arrival, I decided Id actually rather switch the chandelier with another ceiling fan (instead of get rid of the chandelier all together), and he said he could do it no problem. It actually took him way less longer than expected, about an hour and a half! When he was done, he was very informative about the new location of the fan and that I could expect it to wobble if placed on the highest speed (this was due to the more shallow depth of my ceiling and 100% not his fault or something he could change). I didnt mind as I had it done more so for cosmetic reasons, but he ensured me it should still be a safe and functional fan. When it came to installing the dog door, he went out to purchase one to install. Unfortunately upon his return, we realized my stout pitbull-mix needs a wider dog door that would also fit in the wooden paneling of the room (that unfortunately Kevin couldnt find on the day of his service). He gave me the exact dimensions of a dog door that would fit and suggested I order one that he could install at a later date. Before he left he asked if he could do anything else, and I remembered my master bathroom fan was not working! He happily agreed to take a look. In just a few minutes, Kevin determined the source of the problem and had it fully functioning again. He was again informative about what I should do should it stop working again. This was my first experience with a handyman service and I couldnt be more impressed or satisfied, Kevin was awesome!

My service consisted of two related parts. 1.) repair damaged roof shingles and 2.) repair of interior water damaged sheet rock resulting from the damaged shingles. Only part 1 was completed. The Handymen that did part one did an excellent job, ensuring they matched shingles and clearing debris from the roof. They also took a picture of the interior ceiling damage to share with the technician doing that work. Unfortunately, Mr. Handyman never scheduled to part 2 work.
