Introduction: I am an award winning, and nationally published, on-location and studio photographer based in Knoxville, Tennessee. I'm a mom to 3 miracle children who have overcome great odds just to live. I love to shoot couples, maternity, seniors, and families, but my heart lies in newborns and special needs children. I have my photography certificate from the University of TN in Knoxville and continually take classes to stay up to date in my knowledge.
My photos are a reflection in time. I strive to capture moments and people just as you remember them because people change, and memories and photos do not.
My goal is to have the most stress-free photography sessions as possible. I love to have fun! The more fun, relaxed, and laid-back you are, the better the photos (we all remember our parents forcing us to smile and "be good", and that is very stressful). Behavior does not affect me in the least bit. I am very flexible and easygoing.
I am available for travel outside of Knoxville on weekends for a small additional fee.

Katie is very easy going. She is flexible with scheduling
and reasonable with her pricing. Creative with the photo session too. Katie brings her ideas to a photo session every time you meet with her. Very talented in capturing the moment and the emotion. I love Katie! The seasonal specials are awesome deals too. I should never have to search for another photographer as long as she works.

Katie was super patient with my 4 week old, 5 year old, and our dog. Prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to do a spring shoot!

Katie drive from her home in Knoxville to my daughter's house in Chattanooga to take newborn shots. She spent three hours trying to get a lot of great shots, which she did. Newborn photography is very difficult and Katie does a great job!

Katie was great to work with. She was professional and took outstanding shots. The prints that we ordered were a quick turn around time and looked outstanding. We will gladly continue to use her for our yearly family photos.
