I was not sure this kind of thing was for me. Coaching always felt like something other people tried when they were stuck, but I never thought it would be something I needed. I went in curious, but also skeptical.
Then I had my first session with Stephen.
There was something in the way he held space. Not trying to fix, not trying to impress. Just there, fully. And somehow, through just a few questions and the way he really listened, I felt myself exhale in a way I had not in a long time.
It was not about a single breakthrough. It was more subtle than that. More honest. Like something inside was already moving and just needed the right moment to come forward.
In the days that followed, I noticed how much lighter I felt. I started speaking with more clarity, choosing things that actually felt good again. Nothing felt forced. It was like I finally remembered something I had been carrying all along.

Stephen is a terrific listener and very inquisitive in how he asked the right questions to make me think out loud. What I truly appreciated was that he was not just a "paid yes man" rather he knew when to push me further and when to let something go. I have grown because of my time with him and will 100% be working with him again in the future.

One of the best thing about Thresholds is their Soulful Coaching & Counseling. My time spent in spiritual direction with Stephen Grindle was the needed counseling & coaching I need to help strengthen my walk in the Lord. Stephen has a such a wonderful heart to listen fully in order to help untangle and heal any hard life experiences. The prayers I received during my sessions were God's truth shining in the most darkest places in my life.

By far, Stephen Grindle is the most profound heart polisher I know! His ability to ask the right questions led by the Holy Spirit to discover root issues is remarkable... pure annointing! Some of my most incredible encounters with Jesus have all been led by Stephen. Thanks to Stephen's gifting, I also discovered my unique kingdom contribution which has revolutionized my sense of purpose and helped me stay laser focused throughout every season since this discovery. Now, in light of knowing how God uniquely wired me, I have more discernment and can confidently say no to opportunities that don't line up with what God has called me to.
In 2016, I had the joy of having my first child but also the sarrow of struggling with major insomnia! I reached out to Grindle for help. He walked me through significant heart healing during this time. I recieved so much healing from childhood and adult wounds that now I can look back with a smile on that season... because I experienced exponential growth!
Thanks to Stephen's ability to facilitate numerous encounters for me with Father, Son and Holy Spirit I've matured tramendously in my relationship with God and relationships with others. I love better! Wow! Grateful is an understatement!
