Hello, my name is Mark Woodside. I am based out of Knoxville, TN. Right now, I am looking to provide some opportunities to give people guitar lessons and also personally train people to reach their fitness goals. In terms of guitar, I have been playing since I was 13 years old (I am 26 now, almost 27). I am a music leader at a church. Also, I am working on my first professional EP in Nashville, TN. That should be coming out soon. I am working with one student right now. When teaching guitar, I like to start with the basics (strumming, basic chords and patterns, proper techniques, and dynamics) to make sure my students are getting a good foundation to move forward. This is huge to their success, and I like to create a fun environment. You can't tell from this description, but I am a very outgoing person, so I like to have fun. I have a beard which helps give me all my musical powers. It strengthens me when I am feeling weak. Also, I am currently working at a gym called The Rush as a personal trainer. I just started there and am excited to be able to help people reach their fitness goals. I have a passion for fitness. As a side note, I lost 40 lbs from September to December. I love being active and staying healthy, but more than that I love seeing other people I work with reach their goals. I know that sounds cliche or cheesy, but it genuinely is true.
