- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nearly every project is different and must be priced accordingly based on material costs and time involved. Some things though are pretty straightforward. For example, wall mounting a T.V. is always going to be $150 including the mount because I know exactly what the mount costs and how long it will take me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Things usually begin with a message via Thumbtack, website, or telephone. I will inquire about the nature of the project and either set a date and time to complete the work or to get a better look at what needs to be done and then estimate a cost from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have directed a wheelchair restoration shop for a national charity for many years and that experience has given me valuable experience in problem solving, fabrication and human relations.
