- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family if very important to me and having an opportunity to be with them when I need to be is so important. I have a daughter who plays college basketball and it is so important to me to be able to travel to her games. It is gratifying for me to help others and if I can make someone live simpler I have done my job. In my past experience I have had an opportunity to meet some pretty neat people.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
General house cleaning consist of cleaning bathrooms, dusting, sweeping mopping vacuuming floors, cleaning appliances, wiping down kitchen counters, changing linens. Extra duties that are not necessarily needed on regular basis may consist of cleaning ceiling fans, wiping down baseboards and cleaning windows. These could be at an additional cost.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get to know that person, like the person who is working for you. Peoples homes are a very personal part of their lives it is important that you trust who is in yours.
