FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a service call/ diagnosing and repair work we charge a minimum 1 hour fee plus material. If it seems that it will take longer we will stop and confer with the customer on what it is going to take to finish the job. Our estimates on larger projects are generally a firm upfront cost based on experience and current market prices and the scope of work at the time of estimating. We Do Not thrive as others do on upcharges and change-orders. The first estimate you get is what you pay, unless changes are made during the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we like to see a large project before we provide an estimate, walk the project with the customer and address any concerns. Small projects will usually be done at time and material rates.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our work is done to the NEC 2017 standard at a minimum. Amongst our academic credentials are High school diplomas, an associates degree in engineering and an electrical apprenticeship.
