FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One price covers everything. The only time that we may charge you additional fees is if you do not want to leave when our contract is up. We will charge you for additional hours. We are always competitive on pricing and we shop other companies to stay competitive. Don't fall for the low dough DJ. You will not be satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the Weddings and Events association of the Mid-South. WEAM for short. We hold several speaking and teaching workshops a year so yes I have to keep up with all the latest trends. Not just DJ stuff but aspects of all vendors at a wedding. You see we have 28 highly professional wedding vendors in our group and we have monthly member meetings to catch up in the wedding industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well, when I was a teen in high school, i was in a rock band. I had purchased all of the equipment the band needed for sound. We were going to be rock stars dammit! We played many smoke filled hole in the wall bars and then one night the owner asked me if I had ever DJed before. Knowing that I owned all of the sound equipment, I answer no way. Well turns out we were getting paid $100 a night split between 5 band mates plus free beer. I was offered $100 to DJ. I did the math and my first DJ gig was working with side by side cassette decks. That was in the mid to late 80's a lot has changed but my passion for weddings has not.
