FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Visit their studio. If everything is neat as a pin, and the phone never rings, you might wonder if this a new or hobby occupation. On the other hand, if the computer is on, there's stacks of items in progress, and the phone rings a time or two, there's a clue this photographer is not only working, but BUSY, which means others like doing business with him or her. Trust your gut... do you feel like you're being listened to - and heard - about your project? If not, keep looking. Photography is part "art & craft" but it also has to be a "ministry" as a provider of restoration, emotional healing, captured joy, beloved memories. Its a serious business of serving people. If you don't feel that from your photographer, chances are you'll be paying too much for too little.
