FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Simple! I have them show me what the problem is, I explain how I plan to fix the problem and what costs will be associated with the repair and how long it will take, then I get to work. When the job is complete, I make sure the customer is happy with the repair. If any adjustments need to be made, I make them right away without complaint. I have yet to have a dissatisfied customer!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father taught me how to make basic home repairs when I was a kid growing up in Sylvan Park. Our house was built in the 20s and hadn’t been kept in great repair, so there were plenty of aches and pains that needed to be addressed. I’ve been making my own home repairs ever since. It saves money and there’s a wonderful feeling of satisfaction and security that comes with knowing how to keep your home in tip top shape!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently fixed a client’s blinking canned lighting. Their kitchen was like a disco with all those flashing bulbs! They thought they had a wiring problem that would need a pricey electrician to fix but after doing some research, I realized they simply needed the same wattage of bulb in each can. After about an hour and $20 in bulbs, the problem was solved!
