About
Every photographer has a particular style, and I think it's a good idea for customers to see what style is a good match for them. I tend toward a natural, journalistic way of shooting. I'd much prefer to hear a client say, "That's just like it happened! You captured it!" or "You got her real smile," rather than, "What a perfectly composed photo with perfect lighting." I love being swept away by the energy of an event and feel very alive while participating in the moment, capturing what is happening. As an extremely extraverted person, meeting people is always enjoyable. I especially love children and it's so fun to play with them during casual photo shoots.

Lisa beautifully captured the entire day of my wedding proposal at the Nashville Country Music Marathon. She is the definition of going above and beyond! Let me explain… She designed a fake “press” badge in order to blend in with the other race photographers so my soon-to-be fiancé wouldn’t get suspicious (completely her own idea), and met me at the race before the sun was even up. I asked her to candidly take photographs before the race and to be at the finish line to capture the proposal. Not only did she take amazing pictures at those moments, but she hustled to the mid-point of the race to get some pictures of us running together. It was such a wonderful surprise to see her there! Later that day, she texted me to suggest tons of great restaurants and attractions in Nashville, since we were from out of town. Very shortly after race day, we received a link to a blog she wrote about the proposal! That will be something we will keep forever and show to countless friends and family members. The quality of her work is truly outstanding, and you won’t meet a nicer person. I couldn’t be more happy and satisfied! I highly, highly recommend her!

Lisa just took our engagement photos and we are unbelievably impressed with them. She captured us so well, and the photos look amazing. Her ability to work with natural light is what won me over especially. I am so eager to have her photograph our wedding day in August and I couldn't be more confident that she will do a great job. Plus, she's a wonderful person to be around--we enjoyed chatting and laughing with her. Very personable and good at putting us at ease!

lisa was absolutely wonderful. she was just a super nice and friendly person to begin with and so i liked her before she started taking pictures. i didnt realize she was even taking pictures during the ceremony because she was so stealthy with where she was; she was never in the way of me or the groom or any of the guests. she was totally available whenever i wanted her to take pictures of me with certain guests. but, most importantly she made me look amazing in all the photos. i say this because i think it says more about her photography than me being full of myself, which i think i can say about my wedding ! haha the lighting was gorgeous even though the ceremony was indoors; guests were captured at their most natural and candid moments; and even miscellaneous things like my shoes were shot beautifully. i recommend her to anybody and everybody, but at the same time i kind of want to keep her to myself ... i cant wait to push this baby out so i can have her take pictures of her !!
