FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually have a flat hourly rate for my labor plus parts. But, depending on the job, I'll quote it outright to either help a customer with what their budget may be or because it may be a square footage deal. I always try to be fair to the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually a phone call can answer most things, but I do like to visit the site and get a good grasp on the scope of the job and communicate with the customer their exact needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken wood shop in high school and college and am a constant student of the trades. I keep up with all today and yesterday’s trends of craftsmanship and technology online and in journals. Dear ole Dad was a good teacher as well.
