Introduction: Dogs On The Run has built an amazing network of pet care professionals that are Certified and/or specialize in many different areas of animal health & behavior. We have the ability to listen to your specific needs and match you with the perfect professional. That's right! DOTR takes away the pain point of interviewing 5-6 people who may be bonded, licensed, insured and background checked. We have done all of that for you!
Dogs On The Run only works with true "pet loving" professionals who are in EXCELLENT standing and takes their responsibilities seriously!
We always schedule a free in-home consultation which will allow you to interview the DOTR professional. Dogs On The Run also takes great pride in having systems in place to ensure that "No pets go without care... while they are in our care!"

Elizabeth stayed with my 2 dogs while I was gone for 6 days. This was my first time using a professional pet sitter and I was a little nervous about it. From the first consultation, I felt at ease and knew shed be a great fit. I am beyond pleased with the level of communication, reports provided with lots of photos and the respect she showed for my home. Most importantly, I knew she loved my pups and took great care of them and showered them with attention and affection. One of my dogs has some behavioral issues and weve been working with a trainer, Elizabeth continued the work with her. Overall, Im very pleased and will definitely have her stay again.

I was in a pinch finding somewhere to board my doggy over the holidays, and I used Dogs on the Run for the first time. They were great, and I felt super comfortable with their one-on-one dog sitting, rather than a traditional boarder. They matched me with Alyssia, who was a pro! She was also a really good communicator the whole way thru and sent tons of pics. They had a blast and my dog Buster loved it. Ill for sure use DOTR again.

Cookie my puppy goes to Susie and Oscars through dogs on the run. There are the only people I trust with my baby, I go to work without worrying as they take incredibly good care of her, they are so kind they feed her and give her, her supplements. She plays all day with her friends with lots of outdoor space. I cant recommend dogs on the run enough and I am so thankful to have found them.

From the moment I called DOTR they were clear, helpful and calmed my nerves. They immediately got me in contact with Kristen and we scheduled a meeting. We decided to schedule Kristen for a 12 hour day shift before going on an overnight trip and she was wonderful. I wrote very detailed instructions about my sweet Penny and Kristen followed everything. We were very nervous to leave Penny (shes a rescue who needs a lot of love and TLC) but Kristen eased our fears by sending numerous photos and updates so we could stay up to dat on Pennys day. We are very thankful Kristen followed our directions and look forward to trying an overnight stay soon.
