Hello! My name is Megan and I have been a passionate and dedicated teacher for 15 years. I own an online academy and teach worldwide.

On my musical journey - I trained at the top classical and contemporary music schools in the world (Interlochen Academy of The Fine Arts, Columbia, And Berklee College of Music). After soaking in and absorbing their valuable knowledge - I went on to apply their techniques to my own music career. I have since performed at iconic venues such as Lincoln Center, been featured in international publications like Dailymail, won awards like an LA Music Critic Award as well as being awarded in 7 International Songwriting Competitions, and have had my song's placed in popular TV Show (TNT's 'Claws', and Forever 21 Commercials). I am working on the release of my first album, which features 6 Grammy/Oscar/Emmy winners and nominees on it - and the first single garnered 50,000 plays on Spotify!
I am able to teach over Zoom and Google Meets.. I've worked with all ages, all levels and absolutely love being a part of the journey!

My girls are really growing. Megan is in Nashville and we are in Houston. The zoom sessions works very well. My girls both sing in front of hundreds of people at Catholic mass and Megan has really helped their confidence. I have a 10 year old and 12 year old. My 12 year old was rated top tier performance at a recent choir performance in her school district and my little one is really working on her confidence and stage fright. She worked with Megan and sang Christmas mass in front of hundreds of people. Megan knows how to connect with kids. They truly love and enjoy her classes and their voices have improved dramatically.

My 14 year old daughter is an aspiring musical theater performer and has been taking voice lessons from Megan for 6 months. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer the first consultation/lesson free of charge!
After that - I offer weekly lessons on a monthly basis with the following per lesson pricing:
30 minutes - $45.00
60 minutes - $85.00
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step is the initial free consultation. After getting a clear understanding of where my student wants to go, and how fast - we tailor specific goals to fit their purposes. I've found the key to learning is engagement, creating effective goals to achieve, and fun! Usually the student is a bit nervous the first couple lessons, but this wears off quickly as we get done to business.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained at Interlochen Academy of The Fine Arts for Opera and Classical Voice, I've trained at Columbia College of Music for pop/soul vocals and composition, and I've trained at Berklee College of Music for songwriting. I have a lot of on-the-job training and experience singing in front of large crowds and various media outlets.
