Hi! My name is Mary. I have always been passionate about creating warm safe spaces & photography has proven to be just that. I began portrait photography in 2008 and have been honored to document hundreds of weddings, families, engagements and even a few births over the years. With almost two decades of experience, my goal is always to capture the current season in your life while making you as comfortable as possible! I’m a mom to three children & a coffee shop owner (check out Forevermore in East Nashville) & truly don’t take it lightly getting to capture your special moments!

Our experience with Mary from Forevermore Photography was amazing! We booked her for family photos and I feel as though she went above and beyond in working with us. She was super responsive, timely, and helpful onsite with a toddler who wasn't very interested in participating in photos. Mary found a great spot for us to take pictures and they turned out beautifully. We will definitely reach out to Mary again next year for family photos. Highly recommend booking with her!

Mary was such an awesome photographer. She was able to capture the exact look we wanted in our marriage anniversary photos. You want Mary along for every life event! She is amazing! As a family with young kids it can be hard to do photos, however Mary is incredible with kids. She is calm, fun and carry’s so much safety about her that it has made every session a breeze. It feels like hanging out with a friend you have known for years.
Mary also did our birth photos, she read the room and was such a calm presence. I am so grateful we had her there.
Her photo quality is incredible and timely.
She truly has a gift of capturing moments and scenes that others would miss.

We cannot thank Mary enough for the experience. She photographed my husband and I along with our 3 dogs. When I tell you, she was the most thoughtful, patient, sweet person we could've ever worked with, I mean it. Taking photos with 3 dogs, you can imagine how difficult it is to be able to get everyone to look at the same time and to get them still for photos, but Mary really leaned into capturing our candids and showed us they didn't have to be in "perfect" positions each time. She took extra time with one of our dogs that is a bit skittish as well to get to know her. I really can't say enough good things about Mary! What I can say is we have found our new family photographer!

Mary was truly amazing to work with and my husband I will definitely be hiring her for all future photos! I am not a fan of getting my picture taken, but she made me feel so at ease and was so kind. She made the process fun and light which I appreciated SO much! Our photos came out way better than I envisioned and I’m so thankful for her capturing the biggest milestone in our lives yet. Super high quality and beautiful edits. We love Forevermore Photography and can’t wait to have her back once baby is here!

My prices are very true to what is listed on my profile but if you are working with a certain budget, don’t hesitate to reach out!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will communicate via text, message or email and get to know what you are looking for when it comes to your session. I will help you in figuring out the best time, location and even outfit options! My sessions are very relaxed while also providing guidance and my editing process is really refined from almost two decades of editing experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended a photography institute that specialized in portrait photography & business.
