FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the first email or phone call, you will tell me all the details about your project: how long it is, when the deadline is, whether it's a repeating project (like ongoing editing for blog posts), etc. Learning these details will help us both cut to the chase and make sure we are both on the same page. Then, you'll give me whatever materials I need to get started and the first half of the payment. I split the payment in half to protect my time and guarantee that my client is happy before I receive the final half of the payment. After looking over what I've accomplished, you will let me know if you are happy or what questions and suggestions you have. Once you are happy, I send you the final project and you send me the final payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently finishing my Master's of Arts in English at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. In addition to my own coursework, I also work in Belmont's Writing Center working with students with all phases of the writing process: brainstorming, outlining, drafting, editing, etc. In addition, I freelance with a Nashville-based company editing blog posts, writing queries for authors, critiquing and editing manuscripts, and much, much more! No project is too small or too large; whatever project you have in mind, I've probably already worked on something similar.
