I would say my background and passion. With my combined background I can give consultation on not just the logistics but decor design, photography, and invitations/paper goods. Having an art background has trained my eye to recognize my client's aesthetic and to translate it in ways they have not even thought about! Not to mention I LOVE what I do. Nothing makes me happier than taking all the different voices and fitting them together to make sweet music! It truly makes me happy and seeing that joy transposed on my client's faces is addictive. I am also a detail oriented semi-perfectionist. If you tell me that one grandmother is from Ireland and the other is from Bangladesh, I'm going to wrap something or someone in a kelly green sari with Irish lace and the Irish grandma will be eating potato curry dishes at the Gaye Holud while you dance an Irish jig with the Bengali grandma. The little things matter and that is why I'm there! To remember the little things and to make sure your day turns out exactly like you envisioned it. The joy! The smiles and the laughter. The feeling of a job well done and the hugs and tears at the end of the night.
