I think reaching out is a really brave thing to do and I will meet you with compassion and empathy to help you set your intention for a healthier life. Coaching for mental health is a lot like coaching for physical health - you will be training using mental health practices and practicing and training and tweaking and practicing and training. There is no failure on this journey… just training. There is hope for healthier relationships with others and especially your relationship to yourself.
My name is Elaine and I’ve been coaching parents with difficult children, coaching kids with traumatic pasts, foster, and adoptive families (like my own) for many years. I am passionate about sharing skills with other families to repair relationships. I am passionate about giving tools to parents and children to respond instead of react to stress. WHAT GETS BROKEN IN RELATIONSHIP, GETS HEALED THROUGH RELATIONSHIP. When you heal yourself, you heal your children’s children.
I am board certified through AACC as a mental health coach with a specialist in trauma response. I am a certified parent and family coach with John Maxwell Leadership and through Connected Parenting. I am a certified enneagram coach. Licensed in Christian Education and a Christian Counselor.
