- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The base price for on-site services is $90 for the first hour. Projects over an hour will be priced based on listed rates. I offer flat rate prices based on your project needs, and that helps keep the focus on the work and not the time it takes to provide quality service. I will get the job done right and price fairly based on each individual project. Pricing varies and will be finalized after on-site assessment of the job desired, although a rough estimate can be given upon request. Itemized invoice can be provided upon customers request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Assess the customers request here on Thumbtack and determine what will be needed for each individual project. This includes photo requests, project details, and project material information. 2. I will provide you with a fast and reasonable quote and my first available start time. I am available 7 days a week, and open time slots throughout each and every day. 3. Upon arrival at the residence I will diagnose the problem and discuss the means for repair, and what materials will be needed. *Parts and materials may need to be purchased ahead of time by customer. Larger items (fans, toilets, large furniture items) should be purchased beforehand but can be purchased and delivered by me and this will reflect on your final bill. For more involved jobs an itemized quote with a breakdown of services can be sent to your email.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this line of work when I was 18 and learned a great deal from an older gentleman who mentored me.
