FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was taking photos of my friends and then their friends and so on and so on. People encouraged me to step out and make it a profession.... so, I did!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look around and don't settle. Photography is so important, especially for a wedding. Invest in good photography.... otherwise, what's the purpose of spending all of that money on other things if you don't have the photos to remember it.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Something I never knew was the cost of owning a small business until I was in it. While photography seems expensive, it's really not... really. I earn half of what I earned as a social worker and I work the same amount of hours... and, I have to pay all of my own costs. We also have to be a jack of all trades. I'm a Secretary, PR Director, Accountant, Photoshop Pro, Housekeeper, Photographer, and CEO all while being a full time Mom. All that to say, I'm so thankful for my job and my amazing clients. They're really the reason I do this.
