Did a great job in just a couple of hours. Reset a toilet, changed out a ceiling fan and a garage motion light. Good service and a fair price.
Did a great job. Attic latter instillation in the garage looks great. Reasonably priced. Very nice
Albert came to my house to install a dedicated line for the gate opener. From the control panel in the garage, through the attic and then outdoor conduit . He knew exactly what to do and it was done perfectly and very quickly. Albert was on time, very courteous and cleaned everything after the job was done. I strongly recommend his service.
Adrian installed wall lights in my daughter's nursery and did a fantastic job for a great price! He was very knowledgeable and even fixed a problem from a previous installation of a ceiling fan that had hazardous wiring in our attic.
I contacted Daniel at about 9 a.m. on memorial day. Daniel and his crew arrived two hours later, got right work installing our brand new household electric panel. Daniel and his crew then walked the entire house and attic making sure all electrical outlets and lights worked well. If you're looking for a top notched professional electrician, call Tik Tak Electrical.
LC did a very good job installing two attic ladders in our home and garage. I highly recommend him.
DJ checked in with me plenty of times to confirm our appointment. My parents house had wiring issues and parts of the house had been without power for years. He fixed our electricity problems in almost no time. Then he took extra steps to make sure the problem would not occur again. Very proficient, professional, and affordable electrician. We will be hiring DJ for future services, and would recommend him to others.
He did a great job installing my attic door.
David did a great job installing the master bathroom exhaust fan in my home this morning. He was easy to communicate with on the Thumbtack messaging, and quick to reply. He arrived on time, got to work quickly after evaluating the install, and cleaned up the mess after. If opportunity arises, I would hire him again.
I hired Edgar to add (2) 20amp breakers with outlets throughout my garage and to place (4) ceiling fan mounts/wiring in the bedrooms/living room of our house. Pros: -He worked very quickly, and communicated well when they needed a decision or feedback on something in the plan -He gave me an incredibly reasonable price for the work -He stuck to the schedule, and worked around my schedule as needed Cons: -None. Good work at a good price.
I purchased an older home and needed to bring the place up to code and into the 21st century. In deciding to purchase the house, the myriad issues with the house's wiring was by far our biggest concern--so having them resolved ASAP was our biggest priority. After vetting a few contractors, I went with Ruben. He was able to get out to the property quickly and check it out. He spotted all the problem areas that I was already concerned about and clearly explained how to resolve those issues. He was frank and honest about what work needed to be done immediately, and what could be done later or along with a complete re-wire (which we'll be doing in the future). He offered special pricing (reduced from his already very fair prices) since much of the work was in the same area of the house. Specifically, he was hired to: install a new panel to replace 3 cobbled-together older ones, bring the entry point up to code (raise the incoming lines further off the roof, bury a ground cable, etc), bring the outlets in the kitchen up to code (installed GFCI outlets), add a GFCI outlet to the bathroom (it had no outlets at all), run a line to the utility room and install an outlet for an electric dryer, correct a shorted-out switch, and convert some outlets through out the house from 2-prong to 3-prong ("grounded") outlets. We coordinated to have him begin the project the day after we closed on the house. He under-promised and over-delivered: he cautioned that the work may not be completed all in one day (he finished everything that day), and I added a project to the list on the day that he arrived (the kitchen was not wired for a garbage disposal--he was able to knock that out same-day as well). He and his crew were professional, considerate, and polite. They checked with me on any major decisions that required my input, and left no trace that they were ever there. It has been about a week since he completed the project, and no issues have come up--everything works like it did when triple-checked them before leaving. What was a major concern of ours in moving into the house is now a point of confidence. Bottom line: you want to hire this guy.
They came to my house on time, installed large rack on ceiling of garage, even though job took longer than expected, they still charged me what they quoted which was very reasonable. Good job!
I called Mike to replace a vent fan in my attic. He worked around my schedule and charged me a very reasonable rate for the work performed. He was quick and efficient and respectful. I would recommend him to anyone needing an electrician or handyman around their house 100%.
I have hired several contractors over the past 15+ years to complete various projects in my homes. August is a standout among this group due to his strong knowledge of home construction best practices and finding effective solutions the problems I was facing. I hired August to repair a severe water intrusion problem in my attic as well as repairing the drywall in my ceilings in several rooms. His attention to detail and his workmanship were impressive. And I greatly appreciated how he worked with care inside my home, ensuring he minimized any clutter and debris, covering the furniture and kitchen counters, and cleaning the hardwood floors when he was done working. I would highly recommend August to others and will definitely call on him for any future projects I might have. Stephen H.
I had an electrical problem I could not figure out in the breaker box to just one room in my house. I had already replaced the breaker in the box, checked all outlets behind the plates and crawled thru the insulation in the attic meaning it was in the walls somewhere. I was afraid it would cost a fortune. Henry called inside of ten minutes and even though it was a Saturday after 5 pm he could be here within an hour for no additional fee. He told me he would find it and the expected time frame. He isolated the short in less than 30 minutes and even though it was a not a simple fix being in the wall, he still had it fixed in the time frame he gave me. I was cautious since it's a one man operation and new to Thumbtack, but being a small business myself I know what that is like. He is certified and did an excellent job. Honest and upfront and very likable. Best of all all my power is back. Thanks Henry.
Great work by Dale. Smooth ceiling fan installation outside on our 14 ft tall patio ceiling.
Houston drywall did a great job. I got a quick quote and they were ready to start soon. They completed the whole job in one day. They installed an extra attic door in my garage and put decking in all about garage to add a lot of storage. I would recommend them to friends or family.

His service was not only affordable but also the job was finished in a timely and cleanly manner. I would highly recommend Mr. Choate for his quality work.
