FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every event is a little different, so pricing depends on factors like event length, location, equipment needs, and whether additional production elements are requested. I occasionally offer discounted rates for schools, nonprofits, and community events. If your event falls into one of those categories, feel free to mention it when reaching out. Travel outside the Dallas–Fort Worth area or specialty production elements such as cold sparks, lighting upgrades, or other effects may involve additional costs depending on the setup required. My goal is always to work with clients to create an amazing event while keeping everything clear and straightforward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by learning more about the event and what the client is envisioning. I’m happy to communicate through messages, but I usually prefer a quick phone call so we can go over details more efficiently. During the consultation we discuss the event timeline, music style, sound coverage, and any additional elements the client may want to include. For larger productions we can also review options like lighting, cold sparks, dancing-on-the-clouds fog effects, fire performers, or other immersive elements. If the event requires AV support such as projector screens, ultra short throw projectors, or microphones, we can cover those needs as well. I always arrive early for setup and sound check. Most events require at least an hour for setup, and larger productions may require additional planning and permitting depending on the effects involved. I also offer additional discounts for schools, nonprofits, and community events.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a classically trained musician and multi-instrumentalist who has been DJing professionally for over 8 years across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. My background in music theory, live performance, and music production helps me craft DJ sets that flow naturally and keep the energy of the room exactly where it needs to be. In addition to DJing, I’m a licensed Flame Effects Operator (FEO) and trained fire performer, and I safely operate professional show elements such as cold spark machines and stage effects. I regularly work with professional sound systems, lighting, and event production equipment for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations.
