First, I need to evaluate what level the student is at. Then I start with the basics. How to say Hello, say your name. Rudimentary stuff. I also want to stress the sound system because therein lies the most difficult part of learning French. To give them the basic rules of pronunciation and monitor their pronunciation either by having them read or in correcting their speech . No non-native speaker is going to be perfect in their pronunciation but it must be close enough to be understood by a native speaker.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
