Hello! Congrats on your interest in becoming a stronger performer & creative artist!
Like in any kind of strength training, your acting & audition muscles need to be kept fit for strong performances. I work one-on-one with a limited number of performers who are serious about their interest in acting & growing their skill set.
Whether you’re new or advanced, we'll have fun (in a non-judgmental environment) with personalized sessions starting where you're most comfortable and then strengthening you as a performer with confidence & technique.
I coach exclusively ONLINE over Zoom to utilize the camera in my coaching and to help with comfortability in front of a lens! Script analysis, character choices, emotional tools, and pacing will also be important points of our practice & character training together.
Headshots, agent relations, self-tapes, audition techniques, on-camera skills, and industry woes (that aren't always talked about) will be the technical side of acting that, along with your character training, we'll blend to create confident, authentic, & role booking work!
As a current working actor myself, for my own performances I pull techniques from my years of Los Angeles training that are the most natural for me. I have always felt it's important to develop a formula that works for YOU, and with my help you'll develop your own "emotional tool belt"!
If you’ve booked a role or have a college, theatrical, or film audition coming up & are looking for help shaping your character & rehearsing, I’m available for that as well.
*Please know that I do not consider myself a public speaking/product demo/interview/singing coach. I coach performers as “characters other than themselves” in the art of storytelling scenes, monologues, & commercials. If you are not looking for that type of coaching, I would look for a public speaking coach so you can build the specific skills you need!
ABOUT ME: creating art on camera & on stage has been a pursuit of mine since the age of 7. After 6 seasons recurring on ABC's hit sitcom Fresh Off the Boat, appearances on NBC’s The Jay Leno Show & in dozens of national commercials & stage shows, I pride myself on bringing talent, experience, professionalism, & fun to all my coaching sessions! Thanks to 19 years in the Los Angeles film scene, I'm savvy to current audition standards, self tape techniques, performance styles, & am a proud member of the professional actor’s union SAG-AFTRA.
