Introduction: My years as a martial artist and teacher, gives me a better sense of the acupuncture points than average, as well as years of practice coaching, when appropriate. The Hakomi training has transformed how I listen, and get to core problems. I care deeply about the well being of every one of my patients. Medicine that reaches past the body. Side effect free.

I’ve been a patient of Billy Zachary for over five years, and I can honestly say he has changed my life through his acupuncture practice. His biggest strength, for me, has been his care and understanding. In my experience, he is highly intuitive, he can almost tell me what’s going on with my body, my life as I walk in the door because of his attention to my gait, body, energy, and who knows what else. He always has wonderful words of wisdom applicable to what is going on in my life. I have seen him for allergies, migraines, back pain, depression, specific and general healing, low energy, and even for relaxation/stress. He has helped me on every single visit. Sometimes, because I have been open, he has given me wonderful advice on herbal remedies, which have been invaluable to me. I haven’t seen him for pregnancy, but I hear those of other sexes highly recommend him for that as well. I respect Billy in his constant pursuit of balance in his body, family, business practice, personal relationships, and his care for the community both locally and globally. I suggest him to almost everyone when health becomes a topic of conversation.

I've been getting healing work from Billy for at least 5 years now, and what really stands out to me is his warm presence and obvious dedication to my long term health, both physical and mental. I feel like he is an important and reliable ally in my small collection of caregivers. Most often, I get acupuncture for stress reduction and I come out of the session extremely grounded and mellow, as if the "reset" button was pressed. I've had excellent results with his Hakomi therapy as well, which has had a long term impact and helped me very much in learning ways to manage stress and fear. I have learned a ton about using food and herbs from him as well. Billy is a kind and generous person, offering low cost acupuncture at times for those in need - most recently, he has offered free/pay as you can sessions for those hit hard by the recent flood/tornado damage here in Austin. If you want to establish a long term connection with a skilled TCM practitioner who has a shining heart, you need look no further.

Small family practice. Plenty of time for individual attention and patient focused treatment, reccomdations, and planning. Billy takes his work seriously but is light hearted and respects laughter as best medicine. He does take some insurance and has a great "seasonal" payment plan.

So not only has Billy been wonderful for me, I've sent three different bosses to him and all came back happier and healthier. One for menstrual pain and two for sciatica. If that's not a stunning recommendation nothing is.
