Working with Chris was excellent, from start to finish. We hired him to redo our entire kitchen - cabinets, countertop, sink and faucet, floors, paint, even removing a couple of walls to relocate the pantry. He always gave clear updates to how things were going, and when we encountered the inevitable speed bumps that come with any project of this size, he handled them with professional efficiency to keep things moving forward. His attention to detail is outstanding, and his unwillingness to do anything less than a top quality job is something rare and wonderful. We love our new kitchen. Even better, Chris actually managed to come in under our budget and estimate. Recommended without hesitation for any job, big or small.

Chris was fantastic to work with... he helped us renovate our laundry room and we could not be happier. He is super responsive, timely, accurate with pricing estimates, is helpful with ideas for spaces, and is very skilled in his craft. In fact, we have several more projects between 2 houses and we would not want to work with anyone else.

Chris was easy to collaborate with. He worked on two projects for me — an accent wall (smoothing our dry wall, trim design and attachment, paint) and a pony wall in the master (drywall + wood shelves). I brought him my ideas and he was able to iterate and refine them with me as he used his 3D modeling software and his knowledge of materials. Chris is a good communicator, and brings integrity to his work. He is a special combination of artist and engineer, which to me was important. He knows that his projects affects people’s workflow and day to day life. He puts the user of the space at the center of the problem solving process. Chris and his crew were able to make a linen/ storage space out of a dead spot in my wall that the builder of my house told me about. I'm very happy with the work and with having the extra space! I will definitely hire him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
3D renderings are FREE with hire. As well as consultations and home visits. However, I unfortunately do not have the luxury to drive around town in Austin traffic giving away free information and FREE design work. That being said my consults are $79 with visit. And my design work is package based. Please note, my consult fee JUST covers the cost of my lead to reach out to you through the app. We loose money and time to come and talk with you. So we just ask that you know and honor that please.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.A in Design. 5+ years owning my own company.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Anyone can say they know how to do something. But the work speaks for itself. Reviews and pictures are clearest metric for deciding on a pro.
