About
Private Tech Support
I’m Nicholas, owner of Sutton Tech Support, a former RadioShack technician with over 10 years of experience helping people get their technology working again.
Slow computer? Printer won’t connect? Email giving you trouble? I provide one-on-one remote support for Windows and Mac computers, phones, Wi-Fi, printers, email and Microsoft 365 across the U.S.
You work directly with me. I listen first, explain things in plain English and show you what I’m doing while you watch. Before connecting, I explain the process and get your permission.
I’m a family man with an old-school belief in treating people with patience and respect. Many of my clients are seniors, and some reach out after a scam has shaken their confidence. No question is too small, and you don’t need to know the technical terms to ask for help.
A brief introductory call to discuss your issue and pricing is free. Troubleshooting and technical guidance are $120/hour, with the cost agreed before paid work begins. If something isn’t worth fixing or needs hands-on repairs by a local technician, I’ll tell you.
Private tech support, with someone you know by name.
Tell me what’s going wrong, and we’ll take it from there.

Had issues with my Mac air and HP, was on the phone with Nick who knows his tech and will figure it out. His persistence and determination helped me tremendously. He was very patient and knew what to do. I recommend this guy, Nick, with all your tech problems . I would rate him a 10+ if we were listing 1 to 10 as 10 being the best. Thank you friend!

In just the last 8 months, Nicki Sutton has saved me from two separate Trojan Horse viruses. Nick has been helping me for years with my computer, so when weird stuff started happening to my laptop, I did a forced shut-down and called Nick right away. Realizing the financial dangers to me, Nick Immediately began examing my computer, and quickly discovered the malware. While I was sitting on my couch, Nick was able to log into my computer, while Nick was still at his house, and then performed the much needed repairs. Like everybody else. I have online banking and investment access on my computer. Nick's swift action probably saved me thousands of dollars. Hackers can ruin your life, so play it safe by getting this computer genius on your side. Put him on your "speed-dial".

I first met Nicholas when he worked at RadioShack in the Winn-Dixie shopping center in Big Pine Key, Florida. I was very impressed with his knowledge of computers and phones and techie devices that I know nothing about. I was very sorry when he left the Keys, but I made sure I had a way to keep in contact with him, and I'm so glad I did. He really knows how to make ornery phones and computers and tablets do what they're supposed to do. He always comes through with some kind of a solution. It's not always that easy to find even a RadioShack in the Keys anymore, so he's my lifeline to sanity.

I can say without reservation that his technical skills and professionalism are exceptional.
Nicholas recently handled a variety of computer issues for me, handling each repair efficiently. He is remarkably knowledgeable and maintains a sharp, up-to-date mastery of modern IT systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Beyond his superb technical capabilities, what truly sets Nicholas apart is his outstanding approach to customer service. He has rare patience and data-driven clarity that make technical troubleshooting a stress-free experience. He fosters an incredibly welcoming environment where "no question is too stupid," taking the time to explain operational details simply and clearly.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Remote tech support is $120 per hour. Memberships start at $39 per month; I can explain the options so you can decide what fits. A short introductory conversation about your needs, fit, and pricing is free. Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and step-by-step technical help are paid work. We agree on the scope and price before that work begins.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You reach out, I answer. You'll work directly with me, Nicholas Sutton. We start with a short, free conversation so I can listen to what's happening and see whether I can help. If we're a good fit, we agree on the work and price before troubleshooting begins. I explain what I'll do and ask your permission before connecting remotely. You can watch while I work, and I'll explain things in plain English. I work remotely across the U.S.; I don't offer on-site visits or hardware component replacement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of total experience helping people with technology. I learned hands-on at the RadioShack repair counter, working on phones, tablets, and computers, and then ran my own repair and support company. That background helps me explain problems in plain English and work through them with you.
