- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to meet my clients for tea/coffee and brainstorm on ideas and feel the space between us so we get comfortable planning the photo shoot/event at hand... And the day of the shoot I make sure they feel ready and calm, confident and relaxed. The shoot usually feels like we are friends catching up and playing with cameras.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father is a photographer/filmmaker so I grew up taking photos and making videos with him. Took a few courses in school and online to learn technical details about photography and video, but my biggest training has been taking photos and dissecting them until I feel I got what I wanted. I like the organic flow of photography and capturing moments more than staging the shots.
