FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes a one-hour session, post-production, editing and digital access to a personal online album where you can download the photos or purchase prints.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'd love to talk with you over email or on the phone to flush out the initial details (location, date, time, etc.) I will scout locations if necessary. I will send a detailed calendar invite to lock in our session. In the calendar invite it will outline the amount of photos I will deliver, when I'll have the photos edited, where we will meet, timeline, pricing, etc. I will create a pinterest board of different pose ideas and bring this to our shoot. During the shoot it will be a very fun and collaborative experience. We will talk and get to know each other to ease into the experience. Most of my clients have never been in front of the camera so I understand how it can feel overwhelming and I do everything I can to help the process go smoothly. After the shoot I will send you the final edited photos (edited in Lightroom and Photoshop) within a few days. I will let you know the exact delivery date in our initial conversation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have my own music blog (thebackstagevoice.com) where I write show reviews. I kept getting photo passes and one day realized I should buy a camera. I had always dreamed of being a photographer and the opportunity kept presenting itself. I started in concert photography and then my sister wanted me to shoot her engagement photos. The rest is history. I have now quit my full-time marketing job and am pursuing my passion, photography, full time. I would not change a thing!
