Hello! I'm the business owner/photographer at Holp Photography since 2014. I'm an award-winning travel photographer based in Austin, Texas. I've backpacked solo through Central/South America and Canada over the past few years. My photos have been featured on major local publications, multiple viral aerial videos, and millions of photo views on social media platforms and Google Maps. I'm also a Level 6 Google Local Guide with plenty of reviews and over 1,000,000 photo views! Over 17,000 followers on Facebook and 11K on Instagram. I recently launched my own podcast called Digital Nomad Ventures teaching how to travel the world on a budget, work from anywhere, generate passive income, meet amazing people, and enjoy the beautiful journey.
My first professional camera was a Canon T1i, followed by an upgrade to the 7D, then the Sony A6000, and currently the Alpha 7! This uncertain career path has continued to evolve into the realm of aerial photography. I'm always getting tons of free exposure through local popular blogs and social media.
I'm very passionate about adventure travel! My curiosity and wanderlust has already taken me across the country multiple times and I've made it a priority in my life to visit many of the most beautiful national parks in the world. In 2017, I had the unique opportunity of filming tours in Costa Rica for a few months, all expenses paid. Afterward, I traveled through Central America by myself for over a month -- staying at hostels, riding buses, and meeting new friends from around the world. In January 2108, I bought a one-way plane ticket to Panama City with the dream of reaching my destination of Torres del Paine in Patagonia, Southern Chile. The dream became a reality after traveling for over 10 months!
