Joao Crus' jiu-jitsu school is by far the best martial arts program/instruction that I've experienced. However, comparing Joaos program to other martial arts schools is doing his school a disservice. Of course jiu-jitsu offers a great form of self-defense and physical discipline. However, Joaos curriculum is so much more than a method of self-defense. He advocates and provides practical tools (through jiu-jitsu) to help his students develop essential life skills (problem solving, performing under pressure, taking responsibility for personal decisions to name a few). Both my son and I have been training with Joao for several years and look forward to many more years of training at his academy.

I have finally started back with my Jiu Jitsu training thanks to Joao Crus. I am taking private lessons at this time and will look towards general classes once my skill level and endurance are adequate. Joao has been great getting me back involved and I look forward to advancing far under his teaching.

Joao is an exceptional instructor, and the format of the class helps develope the students skills required for success in Bjj. He is patient in listening and provides positive feedback that helps a students growth. Personally I find it to be a safe comfortable environment and very much enjoy the 1:1 training I am receiving. He has been one of the best teacher I have had in my 6 years of training as a martial artist.

I been training under Joao Crus twice a week for about 5 weeks in a private class. I am really enjoying the classes a lot. Joao Crus classes started with the basics of Jui jitsu and builds of that with each class. Joao Crus demonstrates the moves and explains the techniques very well. He makes sure that the techniques that he is showing are done right which I appreciate. If you are interested in jui jitsu I would recommend training under Joao Crus

I have standard prices for adults group classes, Kids group classes, semi-private classes and one to one class.

First we schedule a interview in order to find out the customer needs and set the expectations. This process doesn't take long.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Observe the school and the ways the instructor teaches the class to see if their methodology aligns with your perspective
