For all of my life, I have been building with Lego blocks and creating sets with 100s and 1000s of pieces at times. I always pay meticulous attention to detail or else I end up with extra pieces and have to break it apart again. That was something I was willing to do, and a mentality I apply to my assembly work. If I realize I’ve done a step wrong, I don’t shrug it off and move on to save time. I take the extra time to correct my mistake in order to have a finished and well made product. I approach every project as a challenge, and work with excellence in mind.
P.S. IKEA manuals DO make sense, but they can be rather…annoying.

Mateo was incredible! I reached out for help disassembling a bed frame, and he was extremely responsive, showing up the same day I messaged him.
He was very efficient and went above and beyond by bagging all the hardware and bolts so nothing would get lost. He even took the initiative to film a disassembly video to help the future buyers put it back together easily. Truly thoughtful and professional service—I highly recommend him!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will charge a $15 travel fee for any projects outside of a ten mile range from my residence (via road distance, not necessarily a map-view top-down mile radius).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask for reference points for the project, i.e. websites and photos of the finished product so I have an idea of what I'm being asked to assemble. I don't like going in blind. "Bed Frame" could be so many different kinds, ranging from small and simple and taking less than an hour to large and complex and taking over three. Finding instructions manuals on the websites is always a godsend too so I know the EXACT details (Ikea does a great job at this, Wayfair sometimes, Amazon's a turd). Then I settle on price, then find a good time and date.
