Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Important note to my customers regarding COVID-19: I am taking all precautions as to not come in contact with my customers when performing work. All my landscaping jobs are outside and don’t require coming inside the customer's home or coming in contact with them. I am also accepting digital payments through Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle or Square Cash App. Safety and health always come first for my customers and for us Pros. Taking care of our yard and garden has been a part of me since childhood. Pruning, trimming, planting, mulching, weeding or anything to do with making yards look beautiful and healthy is not only a job for me but something I love and enjoy doing. I’ve been trained as a Master Gardener and have knowledge of what plants and general practices work well in our region. I am reliable, communicative, attentive to detail and want all my clients to be 100% satisfied with my service.

Outdoor Landscaping and Design

I needed some shrubs replaced that died due to the February freeze. Gabe was tremendous from the start. He responded quickly and worked to find the shrubs I wanted and worked within my budget. He came out to do the work right away which in itself was remarkable as other landscapers were quoting long lead times. He did great work and left my yard looking beautiful. And best of all he cleaned up after himself which really shows how much he cares about his work. I highly recommend Gabe if you have a small to medium sized landscape project.

Mulching

DiMarco Landscaping is truly an outstanding company! We will use them again in the spring! The mulch choice was outstanding, double shredded brown. The work ethic of the landscaping team was quite refreshing compared to other companies we used in the past. The lawn / leaf cleanup was complete and done right. Thank you, Gabe!

Tree Planting

Gabe planted a privacy tree to block the view to our neighbor's house. Initial contact to final install was less than a week. Gabe immediately responded to all my questions, gave us a fair quote, and showed up exactly when he said he would I will be calling again if I need any future landscaping.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Once I get a clear idea of the scope of work and the needs and wants of the customer, I give a free estimate on the work. I do not have any hidden fees. When customers are designing or revamping their landscape and need help with the design, I charge a fee to create a landscape design with plant suggestions and placement. This includes a landscape drawing as well as links to the plants for customers to see exactly what they are getting. This saves the customer time from trying to figure out which plants work best, etc. During the course of the work, should additional services or materials arise outside the original scope of work, I discuss these changes or add-ons with the customer ahead of time so that we are clear about any additional costs/ materials.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once we connect on Thumbtack, I like to further communicate via phone or text to e-meet the customer and understand their specific needs. It is also very helpful for the customer to provide pictures so that I can give an accurate estimate and provide the best service. This way we’ve gotten a chance to at least e-meet each other, determine the specific scope of work and agree on a price before work commences.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I completed the Master Gardener course a number of years ago through the University of Maryland extension service. I also worked with a landscape architect where I learned the basics of planting, transplanting and garden design. Most everything else comes from tried and true practice and experience over the years. Now in Austin Texas, I have researched extensively on the climate challenges and planting practices here through the GrowGreen Earthwise guide for central Texas (a part of the Texas Cooperative Extension at Texas A&M) and use mostly all native and adapted plants for this region. I also have a sincere interest to research and investigate to solve problems and overcome challenges.
