- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While the pricing is carefully set based on value per hour & teaching materials/resources included, I will consider discounts on a case-by-case basis! From time to time, I may also run seasonal promotions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon selecting me as the instructor of choice, you will get an initial consultation (free of charge) to identify current and desired levels of proficiency. We will then jointly coordinate and schedule recurring meeting times. During our first meeting, we will discuss lesson logistics & run through the personalized lesson plan I've put together! Thereafter, I will assign 'homework' to be completed in between meetings - this will consist of engaging assignments on multiple platforms & will vary based on your goals + interests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After years of rigorous self-education, I majored in German at the University of Texas - completing our 2.5 year, nationally-recognized language program. Following graduation, I lived in south Germany, instructing children from 8-18 years of age on the topics of human rights and cultural understanding - all instruction conducted in the German language. Ever since, I've been educating in the language & have crafted a language methodology that prioritizes retention above all else. 4 phases, 10-12 lessons each!
