I have been a cosmetologist for 16 years. I worked in salons most of my career but have pivoted to soley doing freelance hairstyling and makeup on location and house calls. I love the freedom it brings me, getting to meet new people from all over, and being a part of peoples' once in a lifetime special occasions. I've provided my services for weddings, proms, dance competitions, fashion shows, a music videos, and one film series. I do housecalls for haircuts as well, which includes kids' cuts. I'd also love to be your regular stylist for blowouts!

Natalie did a beautiful job with my hair and makeup. She arrived on time, was very kind, and easy to work with. The final look turned out great and I was really happy with it. The only thing worth noting is that we ran a bit over time finishing everything, which made me late to my event. Natalie did apologize, and overall it was still a good experience.

I didn’t end up moving forward with day-of services due to a change in family plans, but I still wanted to leave a review because my experience working with Natalie during the consultation process was genuinely great.
She was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and thorough in walking me through options, pricing, timing, and logistics for both hair and makeup. She asked the right questions, gave clear guidance around styling (especially for curly hair), and was very transparent about costs and what would work best for a group.

Absolutely phenomenal job! Natalie did an incredible job with makeup for our country music video shoot—both the country artist and the video lead looked amazing on camera. She arrived early, came fully prepared with an impressive range of makeup and lighting, and was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. We couldn’t have asked for better. Natalie did a good job on my makeup and hair the day of my wedding! I loved the look and my makeup lasted all day/evening. The day of there was humidity so my hair was pretty frizzy before she started working, but she was able to get my hair looking great. She was also very kind and gave helpful tips before my wedding to help with my skin and to keep it hydrated. I appreciated her professionalism and how clean she kept her tools she used for hair/makeup.

I needed a makeup artist for an office headshot and chose Natalie based on reviews highlighting her ability to create a natural look, which was important since I rarely wear makeup. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my prices on how long the service will take and products needed. So for example, I charge more for brides' hair or makeup on their wedding day, or complex styles like Hollywood waves/glam waves. I also charge more when working with extensions. Optional lashes are included in the price of makeup applications.
I require a 50% non-refundable deposit for any weekend bookings to secure your day. For anyone booking 3 or more services, I require a filled out contract as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Text or phone consultation required ahead. Find inspiration photos. For brides I highly recommend a trial for hair and makeup ahead of time. Anyone else who wishes to book a trial is welcome to. If I'm doing a group for an event, I stay after 20 minutes for any touch-ups needed. I will reach out again no later than 2 days before your event to confirm final details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed cosmetologist. American Board Certified Hair Colorist. Experience as a cosmetology school instructor. Trained under many master hairstylists and outstanding makeup artists. Took advanced hair cutting classes at the Tony and Guy Institute. I also have a bachelor's in psychology and briefly attended the Fashion Institute of Technology.
