Sand and Shine is everything you want from a home service provider and more. From the initial quote Omar was professional, courteous, and easy to work with. Those qualities carried through his work. He was flexible with my wife and I’s crazy schedules and was ready, willing and able to jump into work on our staircase staining project to meet a short completion deadline. The pricing was competitive and fair. The end result of our staircase is gorgeous. Omar has a keen eye for detail and works hard to achieve perfection. My project was a difficult one; I needed to salvage historic heart pine flooring that was 100 years old, covered in many layers of tar and laminate.
Omar was very diligent in researching the historic wood type, testing out a couple of different solutions to sand / finish / patch the flooring, all the while working with me to do the right thing for the job. I trust his work ethic and very much valued his ability to keep customer preferences top of mind.

Omar was amazing to work with. Honestly I was hesitant to use him at first without any reviews but he came to my property and went over the details of how the wood refinishing process works and showed me how knowledgeable he is. He also showed me photos of his past work in PA and explained that he came to TX to start his own business.
I’m glad he did! Because he worked around the clock to finish my home and clean it after he finished the job. My floors were 75 years old and had not been refinished in over a decade. My floors turned out beautifully and I would absolutely use him again in the future.
Highly recommend Omar! A+ work brother!
